Doug has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, gained in Canada and overseas advising private clients and large institutional investors. He previously worked for 20 years at Raymond James and its predecessor firm Goepel Shields & Partners, where he held the position of Managing Director, Equity Capital Markets. Doug also spent over four years in London, England with RBC Capital Markets, covering pension funds and institutional accounts in the UK and Europe.

Doug graduated with a B.Comm. from the University of Calgary and has held his Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designation since 1985. An active fundraiser for many charities, Doug has been especially involved with the BC Alzheimer’s Society and the BC Cancer Society. He is a native Vancouverite and loves the outdoors. In his spare time, he enjoys water and snow skiing, hiking, cycling and spending time with his family and friends.
