Catherine brings 25 years of leadership and client advisory experience to families, foundations and endowments, to impact their lives by implementing successful investment strategies and wealth planning. She has a deep understanding of exceptional client service, the importance of listening and aligning her guidance to the values of each client.
Catherine is a former member of the Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital Ltd. board of directors and executive leadership team, where her responsibilities included leading our national team of Wealth Advisors and contributing broadly to the firm’s strategic direction, client experience and considerable growth for almost a decade.
The foundation of Catherine’s career has been a dedication to excellence. In the early beginnings, she represented Canada as a professional freestyle snowboarder in competitions across the globe.
B.C. Business magazine named Catherine one of the Most Influential Women in Finance in 2019, and one of British Columbia’s 50 Most Influential Women in 2015. In 2021, she was recognized as a talent leader by Wealth Professional Canada for her contribution toward advancement of diversity and inclusion within CC&L Private Capital. Her commitment to financial education and the community has also benefitted organizations including Mulgrave School, Whistler Community Foundation, BC Children's Hospital, BC Women's Hospital, the Playhouse of Vancouver, the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs, and many others.
Catherine holds a B. Comm. from the University of Victoria, BC and an MBA from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia after being granted a finance scholarship at Boston College. She also holds the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation and has completed the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) education program. She values time with family and outdoor adventures with her husband and children.
