Benjamin has a wealth of experience assisting independent business owners, financial advisors, high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and institutions. He values long-term relationships and provides personalized, attentive service. His investment acumen spans a wide range of asset classes, from traditional to alternative, including real estate, infrastructure, private loans, private equity and hedge strategies. Prior to joining CC&L Private Capital, Ben held roles at Regina-based private equity firm PFM Capital Inc. and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
Ben has undergraduate degrees in Human Communication (B.S.) and Design Management (B.A.) from Arizona State University, where he graduated summa cum laude, as well as an MBA from Dalhousie. He also holds the CFA Institute’s Investment Foundations Certificate (IFC), and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
Ben serves on the board of Ranch Ehrlo Society and volunteers with several organizations, including Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan and Kids Sport Saskatchewan. He is a previous board member for Golf Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs. Ben is also a former competitive hockey player and golfer, and he remains an active alumnus of Arizona State University’s men’s hockey program. Born and raised in Regina, Ben enjoys golfing in the summer and playing hockey in the winter, as well as spending time with his wife and two sons.
