Ben has a wealth of experience in the finance industry advising independent business owners, financial advisors, high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and institutions. He values long-term relationships and providing personalized, attentive service. His knowledge spans a wide range of asset classes, from traditional to alternative, including real estate, infrastructure, private loans, private equity and hedge strategies. Prior to joining CC&L Private Capital, Ben held roles at Regina-based private equity firm PFM Capital Inc. and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
Ben has undergraduate degrees in Human Communication and Design Management (Arizona State), both summa cum laude, as well as an MBA with a focus on leadership (Dalhousie). He also holds the CFA Institute’s Investment Foundations Certificate (IFC), and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
Ben serves on the board of Ranch Ehrlo Society and volunteers with several organizations, including Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan and Kids Sport Saskatchewan. He is a previous board member for Golf Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs. Ben is a former competitive hockey player and golfer, and he is an active alumnus of Arizona State University’s men’s hockey program. Born and raised in Regina, Ben enjoys golfing in the summer and playing hockey in the winter and spending time with his wife and son.
