Jon has more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry, having worked closely with private and institutional clients in roles at Deans Knight Capital, CIBC World Markets and Desjardins Securities. Jon also ran his own successful capital markets
consulting firm.
Jon is a CFA charterholder and a graduate of the University of British Columbia (UBC).
In addition to volunteering his time and experience at CIBC Run For The Cure, Canuck Place and the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau, Jon has previously guest lectured at the UBC Portfolio Management Foundation program and the Junior Achievement program. Born and raised in Vancouver, Jon loves exploring the outdoors, and is passionate about fly fishing in BC and in tropical destinations. He enjoys playing tennis, skiing, and spending quality family time with his wife and three children.
